About the role

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers to shape product direction and deliver customer value.
  • Design and build next-generation user experiences and backend services for the Snowflake Marketplace to ensure reliability and high performance.
  • Own the technical roadmap for the team: identify architectural challenges, propose solutions, and lead execution.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, elevate engineering culture, and champion engineering excellence in coding, testing, and system design.
  • Rethink architecture and reimagine user experience to scale the Marketplace for global customers and partners.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, defining project scope and guiding complex projects from concept to launch.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience designing and building robust, scalable full-stack web applications.
  • Significant proficiency with modern web technologies: Frontend: TypeScript, React, and NodeJS.
  • Backend experience developing distributed services with languages like Java, Python, or Go.
  • Genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences and delivering measurable value to customers and partners.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers; championing best practices in coding, testing, and system design.
  • Must follow company confidentiality and data security standards for handling sensitive data.
