About the role

  • Contribute to building and improving features accross the stack, from front-end components in React and Typescript, to back-end APIs using AWS, Serverless and NodeJS.
  • Pair program, take part in code reviews, and absorb best practices from experienced team members.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers and customer support teams to understand requirements, fix issues and share ideas that make the product better.
  • Build and maintain test suites—unit, integration and end-to-end making sure no regressions are introduced to the codebase.
  • Produce and update clear, concise documentation for APIs and business logic.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements

  • Full-Stack Expertise (1+ years): Some hands-on experience building and shipping either backend or front-end web applications in Javascript/Typescript.
  • Familiarity with APIs and an interest in learning more about serverless technologies.
  • Basic experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Git and agile-style collaboration.
  • Eagerness to learn full-stack development even if you’re stronger in one area today.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team
  • Ability to manage your time and contribute to projects effectively as part of a team.
