About the role

  • Build and maintain Enterprise client relationships within the Benelux market.
  • Prospect (via email, phone, and partner ecosystem), develop, and close business in a timely manner.
  • Achieve sales quotas for allocated accounts and/or territory by developing a sales strategy, target prospect list, and regional sales plan.
  • Develop marketing plans with the marketing team to drive revenue growth.
  • Be the trusted advisor by understanding customers' existing and future IT roadmaps and positioning Snowflake solutions.
  • Qualify prospects and develop new sales opportunities and ongoing revenue streams.
  • Arrange and conduct initial Executive and CxO discussions and positioning meetings.
  • Manage sales process and opportunity closure, negotiate and close agreements with clients.
  • Support new customers through onboarding and provide ongoing account management to ensure customer satisfaction and drive additional revenue.
  • Use a solution-based approach to selling; manage complex sales processes and deliver presentations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required.
  • 7+ years of field sales experience preferred with an emphasis on data or cloud related technology.
  • Proven ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships.
  • Experience hitting quota of $800k+ ARR per year.
  • Experience averaging 8+ face to face meetings per week.
  • New business sales focus.
  • Track record of consistent activity, pipeline development and quota achievement.
  • Experience determining customer requirements and presenting appropriate solutions.
  • Experience with prospecting via email, phone, and partner ecosystem.
  • Experience negotiating and closing agreements and supporting customer onboarding.
  • Familiarity with solution-based selling and managing a complex sales process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, listening, organization and contact management skills.
  • Executive-level relationship management.
  • Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environment.
  • Fluent Flemish / Dutch and English are required.
  • Bonus: Experience implementing MEDDPICC; experience selling software or cloud-based applications to the Enterprise.
