Civil Engineer

• Manage complex civil engineering issues related to new project development, redevelopment, expansions and renovations.
• Facilitate creative and cost-effective solutions to project engineering requirements.
• Interact with Simon team members to establish project specific goals and solutions.
• Present proposed project design solutions to Simon Senior Management for comment and direction.
• Translate design direction to Consultant Team for successful implementation.
• Manage Technical Consultants including civil engineers, geotechnical consultants, traffic engineers, and land surveyors.
• Prepare detailed Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for land surveying, civil engineering, traffic engineering, geotechnical investigations and other site-related services.
• Review proposals to ensure accuracy and inclusion of all necessary services.
• Provide ongoing budget updates to the Project Manager.
• Work closely with Development staff to identify development/construction issues and create solutions.
• Participate in public zoning and other hearings/meetings with regulatory agencies.

Senior Engineer, Civil

Digital Marketing

• The Director, Project Management leads the end-to-end production of consumer-facing marketing content, owning content calendars, workflows, and timelines to ensure timely and compliant delivery of creative assets and visuals for print, digital campaigns and website content.
• Using Project Management rigor, assess and streamline workflows, improve processes, align and translate across communication channels, and enhance overall project efficiency.
• Develop, maintain, and own the master editorial content calendar, managing the production lifecycle from ideation to distribution.
• Define project requirements, set timelines, monitor status, and ensure deliverables are met.
• Partner with creative, brand, and digital teams to develop and manage detailed content calendars and production schedules aligned to campaign objectives.
• Experience working across large teams cross-departmentally to foster increased collaboration and implement process enhancements.
• Monitor production timetables and ensure each milestone is met and addressed, keeping all stakeholders apprised of process and timelines.
• Ensure all content aligns with brand standards, style guides, and legal requirements, conducting quality checks prior to final approval.
• Monitor relevant metrics (e.g., job volume, turnaround times, etc.) to inform future strategy and improve department efficiency.
• Build and maintain monthly visual content decks to align stakeholders on themes, channels, and timelines. Help manage milestones and provide continual updates on projects and their status and drive communication across all teams working on deliverables.
• Oversee the process of asset creation, including briefing creative teams, tracking progress, scheduling review meetings, defining and communicating feedback cycles, and consistently following up to ensure projects are on track.

Influencer Marketing

• Own and define Simon’s creator marketing vision, evolving from campaign-based influencer activations to an always-on, full-funnel creator ecosystem spanning awareness, consideration and conversion
• Lead and manage agency and partner relationships, setting strategic direction, KPIs and accountability frameworks to ensure best-in-class execution and innovation
• Build and scale ambassador program, prioritizing long-term partnerships over one-off activations
• Develop and expand performance-driven creator strategies, including affiliate marketing, creator commerce, trackable links, promo codes and in-center conversion tactics
• Establish Simon as a leader in social-first, culturally relevant storytelling, identifying trends, formats, and platform behaviors that can translate into viral, shareable content

• Responsible for revenue generation through the sale of property and media assets
• Create, develop, and implement the overall strategic marketing direction of multiple shopping centers

Area Director – Marketing & Business Development

Manager

• Maximize EBITDA through a deliberate process of increasing all potential income sources, while controlling expenses within Procure to Pay (P2P) parameters
• Manage net profit programs for maximum results and benefit, including but not limited to: Redistribution, Parking Services, and Waste Handling
• Develop and implement a comprehensive Strategic Business Plan which addresses the opportunities and needs of the center
• Maximize permanent local leasing results (LLT) through the development and oversight of the local tenant leasing process from lead generation to tenant opening
• Actively contribute and support the Leasing Representative and Local Leasing Representative in developing and implementing the center's leasing strategy
• Professionally represent the Company and develop strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants
• Proactively respond to tenant issues, conduct formal and informal tenant meetings to promote/discuss marketing, operations and security
• Support Tenant Coordination and work with local governmental permit agencies to overcome obstacles that can delay tenant construction
• Work with Security Services Provider to establish a customized safety and security program and Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP) customized for each property, and assure appropriate Simon Programs are in place
• Support marketing in the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing plan that enhances Shopping Center and key retailer sales, enhances SBV revenues, deliver compelling mall programming and maximize technological resources such as social media to connect with shoppers
• Maintain exceptional visual presentation, design standards and merchandise use for the retail zones of the property including the strategic location of kiddie rides and vending uses
• Create a world-class shopping experience for customers through establishing and maintaining exceptional operating standards including maximizing contracted services, oversight of the property’s preventative maintenance program, development of a comprehensive energy and capital plan

• Managing an assigned property tax portfolio to ensure compliance with real property ad valorem filings, audits, bill payments, and tax planning
• Performing independent Income/Expense valuation analysis to determine if assessments are equitable
• Preemptively conduct meetings with local assessing authorities to proactively seek appropriate levels of assessment and, when necessary, file appeals at the appropriate jurisdictional level(s)
• When necessary, lead and direct 3rd party consultants and attorneys to provide critical technical guidance in property valuations, appeals, and litigation using an in-depth knowledge of relevant statues, court decisions, real estate appraisal techniques, and local customs and practices
• Be able to effectively engage state and local tax assessing authorities independently or with 3rd party consultants on valuation matters
• Reviewing and approving property assessments and tax bills
• Preparing property tax budgets
• Research and respond to administrative matters involving property assessments and taxation.
