About the role

Provide systems/network engineering support to customer's mission partners
Support customer's organization that provides video engineering services on a global scale
Support an enterprise that supports a carrier class WAN, complex and diverse campus
Understand and manage LAN/WAN operations, protocols, architectures, and topologies
Implement and adhere to information security policies, risk management, and vulnerability assessments
Support video technologies including video conferencing, streaming, and CDN
Configure and troubleshoot networking devices (multiplexors, firewalls, Polycom/Cisco VTCs)
Participate in accreditation process: security assessments and compliance for video and communications systems
Create and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams using Visio
Test and evaluate A/V equipment and design A/V solutions for conferencing and streaming
Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities

Minimum of 11 years' experience
Bachelor's or Master’s Degrees are preferred
Government issued clearance and poly are required (TS/SCI w/ Poly)
Experience with teleconferencing codecs (Polycom, Cisco)
Proficiency in testing and evaluating A/V equipment (microphones, cameras, displays)
Experience designing A/V solutions for video conferencing and streaming
Familiarity with Visio for network diagrams and technical documentation
Experience with Polycom and Cisco VTC systems (configuration and troubleshooting)
Skills in designing and maintaining testing documentation (test plans, cases, reports)
Understanding LAN/WAN operations, protocols, architectures, and topologies
Knowledge of security policies, risk management, and vulnerability assessments
Familiarity with video conferencing, streaming, and content delivery networks
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting networking devices (multiplexors, firewalls, etc.)
Knowledge of security assessments and compliance frameworks for video and communications systems
Strong ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Adaptability to changing priorities and technologies
Desired: Experience with Trident V2CDS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and firewall troubleshooting (SIP, H.323)
Familiarity with UC systems (Avaya, Microsoft, Oracle) and Cisco UC solutions (CUCM, CUBE, CMS)
Experience with VMware ESXi hypervisor servers
