About the role

Coordinate projects and improvements for deployment of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) IT infrastructure
Undertake project design, implementation, and factory acceptance test (FAT) phases
Craft customer-facing project documentation according to planning and functional requirements
Perform software installation, configuration, and testing based on customer specifications and user documentation
Ensure technical accuracy of software, instrumentation, documentation, and project work
Implement and test project requirements independently based on technical specifications
Coordinate and manage internal tests, factory acceptance tests, customer site start-ups, and acceptance tests
Support preparation of project proposals related to IT systems and cybersecurity solutions
Prepare detailed reports for the Project Manager with action plans to complete projects on time and within budget
Share knowledge and guidelines with the engineering team and wider organization to foster continuous improvement
Identify areas for process improvement, automation, and enhancements in engineering solutions
Adapt to changing project requirements while maintaining focus on safety, quality, and compliance

Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in completing IT infrastructure projects
Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V)
Networking & segmentation (VLANs, firewalls, subnets, industrial network segmentation)
DCS & industrial automation knowledge and integration with IT/OT
Windows Server administration (Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, security hardening)
Cybersecurity & compliance knowledge (IEC 62443, NIST, CIS Controls)
Storage & backup solutions (SAN, NAS, RAID, Acronis, Veeam)
Firewall & perimeter security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), VPNs, IDS/IPS
Patch management & software deployment (SCCM, MDT, PowerShell)
Monitoring & troubleshooting (PRTG, SolarWinds, Splunk, Wireshark)
Infrastructure automation and hybrid cloud integration
DCS and/or PLC, system administration, virtualization, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure expertise
Foundational knowledge of AI technologies, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Python)
Proficient in English; third European language preferred
Computer literate (MS Office) with software programming skills
Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 25%)
