About the role
- Manage the full sales cycle, including cold outbound prospecting, interest development, value proposition alignment, ROI development and presentation, and contract and pricing negotiation
- Develop creative strategies for outbound prospecting and pipeline generation across assigned accounts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering, data science, risk management, and customer success to drive results
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for prospects by delivering education, engaging interactions, compelling content, and thought leadership that build trust and long-term relationships
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce (SFDC), using it as the single source of truth for prospect accounts and opportunities; capture detailed call and meeting reports
- Manage net new growth within SMB and Mid-Market segments and sell Signifyd’s Commerce Protection Platform to e-commerce merchants
- Build trusted advisor relationships across organizations, engaging stakeholders up to C-suite and creating internal and external advocates
- Travel up to 20% as needed
Requirements
- Has 2+ years of outside sales, solution selling of software services into the Mid-Market segment
- Experience selling $50K+ ACV deals
- Self-starter who can demonstrate development, growth, and expansion of a territory
- Proven track record of effective outbound prospecting, managing sales cycles independently with accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales engineering, data science, risk management, CS, Product, Marketing, VE, and implementation teams
- Experience with fraud, eCommerce, payments is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed
