About the role
- Research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve products and services as a Systems Engineer
- Develop complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms
- Take system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle from concept through detailed design, simulation, and test
- Work on design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support for ISR and aviation systems
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and lead technical risk identification and management
- Perform requirements management, derivation and allocation, and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline
- Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
- Systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies
- Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Current/active Top Secret with SCI eligibility U.S. Security Clearance (required)
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
- Preferred: Experience with requirements management and system modelling tools (DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB)
- Preferred: Knowledge of industry standard mechanical design principles and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Preferred: Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
- Preferred: Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Preferred: Experience leading baseline definition and maturation, trade studies, and tracking Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
