About the role
- Research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify and improve cutting edge products and services
- Develop complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms
- Take system-level ownership of new products and processes through the product lifecycle
- Usher systems from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and test
- Work as a cross-functional engineer within multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Apply requirements management, systems integration, technical risk identification and V&V principles
- Support Mission Solutions and Technologies programs serving DoD, DHS, commercial and international customers
Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline
- Typically 0-2 or more years of relevant experience
- Must have been a SNC Summer 2025 Intern
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- U.S. Citizenship status is required
- Basic Understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Familiarity working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Conceptual knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
- Knowledge of systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies
- Knowledge of Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- (Preferred) Understanding of requirements management and system modelling tools such as DOORS, Rhapsody, NoMagic, MATLAB
- (Preferred) Knowledge of classical and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- (Preferred) Experienced or certified in INCOSE standards
- (Preferred) Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- (Preferred) Familiarity with baseline definition and maturation, trade studies and analysis of alternatives
- (Preferred) Exposure to establishing and tracking key Technical Performance Measurements (TPM)
