About the role
- Hands-on role performing technical tasks and providing direction for procurement projects
- Own the “How?” portion of solution delivery by working with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to define methods to approach business problems
- Design, develop, document, and create software systems that provide operational efficiencies for procurement and supply chain teams
- Document project requirements using visual and written methodologies to convey value streams and provide technical context to development teams
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with product owners, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders; provide status updates and request assistance when barriers exist
- Troubleshoot and triage issues, provide mentorship, and collaborate with procurement/supply chain team members on questions or concerns
- Act as subject matter expert in Oracle Procurement and grow knowledge with minimal direction
- Operate on site and with distributed teams using remote meeting services, online documentation, platforms, and agile lifecycle management tools
- Limited travel between Cambria locations as required
Requirements
- 5+ years of managing an information systems environment that includes ERP (Oracle Preferred)
- Advanced understanding of ERP system utilization within a supply chain and manufacturing environment
- Oracle Application Express (APEX) and Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) experience preferred
- Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives and delivering outstanding business results
- Ability to influence and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Solid understanding of processes and procedures related to all main activities of Supply Chain (sourcing, negotiation, contracting, procurement, supplier relationship management, etc.)
- Highly motivated towards solving business needs and improving processes
- Ability to manage time and work on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Analytics, or related field; or equivalent experience (Master’s preferred)
- Systems: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Salesforce/CRM and Oracle preferred
- 2+ years’ experience leading/mentoring a development team preferred
- Limited travel required
- Subject matter expert (SME) in Oracle Procurement preferred
- Comfortable operating on site and with distributed delivery teams using remote meeting services and agile tools
