About the role
- This is a remote work-from-home position that requires occasional attendance at the corporate office in Grandville, MI.
- Only candidates living within a standard commuting distance of 75 miles or less to the office will be considered.
- The Sales Account Manager will develop and maintain strategic relationships with vendors/manufacturers and Meijer to maximize sales and margin opportunities.
- This position works cross-functionally to ensure strong sales execution within assigned categories by proactively identifying customer needs and delivering effective solutions.
- The ideal candidate will consistently meet or exceed sales growth targets while aligning with Meijer and vendor sales and margin expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales, account management, or retail vendor relations.
- Strong analytical capabilities with proven ability to interpret and present data.
- Skilled at creating and delivering persuasive presentations.
- Collaborative team player with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple accounts and deliverables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and presentation development.
