About the role
- Achieve profit and premium growth for assigned agencies
- Manage agency relationships with 1,000-1,500 agencies via phone and in-person visits
- Implement plans and programs to achieve agency produced sales, premium, and loss ratio objectives
- Oversee agency sales for a select group within a defined territory
- Collaborate with team to support agency selection, suspension, and termination decisions
- Provide sales expertise to agents to increase production
- Develop and enhance agent premium sources
- Establish rapport with agents to drive acceptable business to clients
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 0-2 years of related work experience, previous insurance experience strongly preferred
- Underwriting, sales or marketing experience and knowledge of professional sales techniques preferred
- Effective human relations and communication skills
- Ability to research with effective analytical skills
- Ability to meet travel requirements (up to 25% travel)
- Experience in a PC environment with basic knowledge of Microsoft products
