Obtains appropriate insurance licenses and learns to sell, quote, bind coverage for prospects
Responsible for completing extensive training and development programs for them to gain product knowledge, sales and customer service skills
Effectively reviews existing coverage and advises prospects and customers regarding policy and coverage options
Sells available insurance products to new or existing clients via various customer contact channels
Estimates and quotes policy premiums complying with underwriting guidelines
Makes appropriate recommendations on policy coverages and options, closes sales, and processes applications
Requirements
Attention to detail to provide accurate quotes to clients
Ability to multi-task on multiple computer systems/screens during a quote
Ability to clearly explain insurance concepts and coverages to clients
Required to pass the state licensing exam for property and casualty producer licenses AND / OR Resident Life license within 30 days of hire
Property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states must be obtained within 90 days of hire AND / OR Resident Life license within 30 days of hire
Non-resident Life license within 90 days of hire
CLU, ChFC, or CFP designation must be obtained within a specific timeframe, as defined by manager
Must complete required continuing education credits to maintain state property and casualty producer AND / OR Life licenses
Must maintain property and casualty producer AND / OR Life licenses for all operating states and/or service states
