About the role
- Drive inbound and outbound prospecting through calls and emails to create and qualify new sales opportunities.
- Serve as the key liaison between marketing and sales, ensuring smooth lead handoffs and cross-team alignment.
- Own follow-up on tradeshows, partner events, inbound inquiries, and all marketing-generated leads.
- Identify and qualify new leads through social selling and intent-signal analysis, using AI-driven SaaS tools to uncover strong buying signals.
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with prospects, customers, and partners by identifying and addressing their business needs.
- Collaborate with channel partners to launch joint lead-generation initiatives and qualify opportunities within their customer base.
- Clearly present and position our solutions, emphasizing business value and ROI to decision-makers.
- Keep detailed, accurate records of all leads, opportunities, and touchpoints in the CRM system.
- Represent Prompt Security at occasional in-person events, supporting field marketing and sales activities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in inside sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, with a strong track record in B2B (cybersecurity experience preferred, SaaS a plus)
- Super organized, detail-oriented, and fluent in CRM tools to manage pipeline, leads, and activity tracking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and influence decision-makers
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with marketing, sales, and partner teams to ensure alignment and results
- Resilience, persistence, and a results-driven mindset, with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities
- Knowledge of consultative sales techniques and the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-moving team
- Willingness to travel within North America at least once per quarter to support events, partners, and field activities
