About the role
- Lead Sentient’s institutional adoption and capital markets initiatives at the intersection of AI, blockchain, and traditional finance
- Lead fundraising efforts with institutional allocators, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, hedge funds, and VCs (Institutional Capital Formation)
- Define and execute roadmap for products like tokenized RWAs, structured products, ETFs, and potential exchange listings (Capital Markets Strategy)
- Develop and close relationships with asset managers, investment banks, market makers, and product sponsors (Strategic Partnerships)
- Engage with liquidity providers, exchanges, and market makers to ensure deep, compliant, and efficient markets (Liquidity & Trading Infrastructure)
- Build trusted relationships with regulators, policy groups, and industry bodies (Regulatory & Policy Engagement)
- Partner with product, engineering, and ecosystem teams to integrate institutional needs into design and delivery (Cross-functional Leadership)
- Represent Sentient in global capital markets and institutional AI + blockchain forums (Thought Leadership)
Requirements
- 7+ years in capital markets or investment banking with senior leadership exposure (e.g., Goldman Sachs, bulge-bracket IB, top-tier asset manager, or hedge fund)
- Proven track record in raising institutional capital and structuring innovative financial products
- Network across financial institutions, allocators, market makers, and regulatory circles
- Understanding of trading systems, market structure, and regulatory frameworks
- Crypto-native mindset and demonstrated experience bridging TradFi with blockchain
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
