About the role

  • Build and lead HR operations in Wrocław and take full ownership of recruitment, HR policies, compliance, and people engagement
  • Lead and execute recruitment and onboarding processes together with department managers
  • Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with Polish labor law
  • Oversee compensation, benefits and payroll administration
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support leaders in building strong teams
  • Manage performance review processes and track employee progress
  • Prepare HR reports and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Use internal and external systems (e.g. Teamtailor, Humaans, scheduling system) to manage recruitment and HR needs
  • Ramp up and scale operations in Poland as part of an international HR organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (alternatively 7+ years of HR experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, including at least 3 years in a manager role
  • Strong knowledge of Polish labor law
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, shift schedule planning, and performance management in an operations environment
  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or retail industries (would be impressive)
  • Experience working in multinational environments
  • Knowledge of European HR regulations (would be impressive)
  • Experience in employer branding or workforce planning (would be impressive)
  • Familiarity with systems such as Teamtailor, Humaans, and scheduling systems
