Promote Sartorius products and services within the assigned strategic account sites to achieve sales targets and gain market share
Manage existing business and identify new business opportunities to suggest products/ services aligned with Sartorius + customers market and growth strategy
Actively use CRM system to manage and document sales life cycle activities including leads, opportunities, customer interactions and to accurately forecast existing and future business
Develop and implement strategic account plan to achieve sales targets and request and coordinate resources
Work closely with internal regional and global teams (Sales, FAS, SUTEs, PS, PMs, Quality) to create successful strategies to maintain existing business and gain new business from the account
Spend ~50% time in the field to develop and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term partnership and act as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and issues
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and product offerings. Coordinate and participate in marketing activities (demos, product presentations, Sartorius day) in the strategic account.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or engineering; Master’s or PhD preferred
3+ years of experience in commercial MABS, ADC upstream/downstream biopharmaceutical manufacturing, process development, process characterization, technology transfer, scale-up, production or application support
3+ years field sales experience, with preferable laboratory/process-based manufacturing in Life Science
Excellent communication, relationship building and negotiation skills
Understanding of biological drug development and application process within multiple modalities (MABS, ADCs, Cell and Gene therapies)
Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.
