About the role
- Triage and respond to Revit helpdesk tickets; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for project teams.
- Assist with maintaining Revit office standards, developing Revit systems, and contributing to system documentation and optimisation.
- Help create training materials, deliver tutorials, and contribute to the ongoing upskilling of staff in BIM workflows and Revit best practices.
- Generate and optimise Revit content, including geometry adapted for CGI use.
- Conduct in-depth research into plugins and new workflows; engage with developers on bugs and feature updates; monitor hardware/software needs.
- Create and manage internal Revit procedures, best-practice documents, and system guidelines.
- Provide frontline helpdesk assistance and support the development and implementation of BIM workflows across the studio.
Requirements
- Only candidates currently residing in Cape Town, South Africa, will be considered for this role.
- Revit proficiency is key.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage varied and technical workloads independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable presenting findings and solutions clearly.
- Demonstrates accountability and follow-through on tasks; professional, ethical, and reliable under pressure.
- Team-oriented, proactive attitude; self-starter who enjoys teamwork and takes initiative.
- Strong systems knowledge and computer literacy.
- Experience with 3D modelling for CGI or visualisation workflows (advantageous).
- Knowledge of Twinmotion, Lumion, and Enscape (advantageous).
- Experience with Fusion 360 or advanced geometry modelling (advantageous).
- Familiarity with parametric family creation and advanced Revit modelling (advantageous).
