About the role
- Influence and lead critical elements of the digital transformation of early operations strategy
- Lead development of AI-powered prescriptive models that determine optimal courses of action
- Rotate through roles within Early Operations Strategy to identify and rapidly propose and deploy solutions globally
- Serve as a catalyst for digital change and offer expert perspectives on potential solutions and ways of working
- Generate operational insights to support indication-level and study-level planning, organizing, and execution of clinical studies
- Develop transformation plans to solve shared challenges or propose digital solutions
- Drive digital innovation by assessing business cases, establishing go/no-go criteria, and measuring ROI
- Coordinate data-driven feasibility activities including eHealth records analyses, site identification, and enrolment modelling
- Develop and support implementation of AI solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and quality of clinical trial planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into operational workflows
- Evaluate and select AI vendors, manage relationships, and oversee implementation
- Present data-driven insights to study teams and leadership to inform strategic decision-making
- Lead and oversee strategic management of indications, programs, and/or studies and foster a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 3 years of experience with identification and implementation of AI-enabled solutions in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
- Experience in the conduct of clinical trials or related experience is highly valued
- Proven track record implementing AI/ML solutions in clinical development or healthcare settings
- Experience building business cases and measuring ROI for digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with methodology to assess business case, go-no go stage gates, and ROI
- Demonstrated success in leading change management for technology implementations
- Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their practical applications in pharmaceutical clinical operations
- Data science expertise with ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights
- Proficiency with digital tools for data visualization and communication
- Knowledge of clinical development processes and regulatory considerations
- Collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving mindset, emotional intelligence, and vendor management skills
