About the role

  • Lead and oversee research, evaluation, and incubation of new categories in the Marketplace
  • Manage strategy and operations of existing categories
  • Leverage AI to enhance decision-making, streamline operations, and unlock innovation opportunities
  • Champion adoption of AI-driven tools across the business to optimize processes and improve customer experiences
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop and execute business strategies and integrate AI into core operations
  • Ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) through traditional and AI-enabled approaches
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify, research, evaluate, and incubate new category opportunities
  • Identify growth opportunities and drive initiatives to increase market share, revenue, and profitability
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, implementing best practices in operations management, process improvement, and resource allocation
  • Manage the P&L for the business unit and each category; develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Use AI-powered analytics to inform decision-making, forecast trends, and identify growth opportunities
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team; drive employee engagement, talent development, and succession planning
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in new and existing categories
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, product development, and finance to achieve business objectives
  • Present business performance and strategic plans to the executive team and other stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to operations, financial performance, and market dynamics; ensure compliance with regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of business experience; running P&Ls in a general management capacity
  • Experience working in online consumer acquisition
  • Understanding of lead generation business models, products, and strategies
  • Proven track record of leading cross functional teams
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling a business unit/region/division, with a focus on revenue growth and operational efficiency
  • Strong analytical acumen and commitment to data-driven decision making
  • Proven experience in integrating AI solutions into business operations
  • Results driven: Ability to identify and understand key business drivers, set meaningful goals, track and drive progress towards results
  • Strong communicator and influencer: Ability to effectively communicate to and influence across different audiences; partners, team, collaborators, executives, etc.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Ability and desire to actively seek out change, continually question how things are done, and not be afraid to make changes
