About the role
- Engage Gastroenterology customers within assigned geography and deliver clinically focused message
- Collaborate with medical specialists and other stakeholders to address customer needs
- Develop strong working relationships with gastroenterology experts and health care personnel
- Drive results by identifying opportunities and developing strategic business plans
- Execute local promotional speaker programs and manage budget allocation for the territory
- Participate in industry related congresses, regional meetings, and medical conferences
- Establish relationships with thought leaders and drive industry-valued customer relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 5 years minimum of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to travel to meetings/trainings/programs as necessary
- Proven success and positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets
- Ability to operate as a 'team player' in cooperation with collaboration partners and internal colleagues
