Plans, and delivers projects/programs in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization.
Manages and oversees all aspects of designated service lines, including the effectiveness and delivery of project management and change management principals, governance, and quality for identified strategic corporate initiatives.
Manages the vision and accompanying roadmap for project management and change management within the organization.
Supports and executes the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements.
Follows and ensures execution of project, and change management best practices, processes, and policy to ensure alignment with organizational strategy and goals.
Management includes the EPMO team members for each project or initiative and oversees the execution of deliverables specifically, the appropriate communications plan, sponsor/stakeholder plan, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.
Leads portfolio management and governance framework to prioritize projects according to relevant measurement criteria.
Allocates EPMO resources aligned with organization's priorities.
Provides oversight of projects and program to ensure delivery within the defined scope, quality, time and cost requirements.
Applies EPMO processes and tools to create strategies to drive project success and change adoption.
Implements and oversees project capacity planning.
Works with the team to review gaps or resource constraints as projects and program are planned and/or implemented.
Conducts regular and ad-hoc project reviews with staff, project team and leadership stakeholders.
Anticipates, identifies and troubleshoots issues of concern of significance, exercise discretion to provide timely information and necessary updates across multiple stakeholders.
Evaluates stakeholder readiness, desired project results, potential resistance and performance gaps to facilitate change from current state to desired state.
Supports the identification of key metrics to assess and measure impact and results.
Champions organization's process and change management methodology, tools, and techniques.
Consults and manages project teams to incorporate agile, innovative and adaptable change management and process improvement methods to increase success of projects and initiatives.
Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills, relationship management, client facing, negotiation, team-building, and problem-solving; experience in communicating with senior and executive levels of the organization, and an advanced understanding of project and change management techniques, standards, and industry practices (i.e., PMBOK and Change Management principals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in project and/or change management or related field required.
Five years' experience managing multiple high-risk, high-cost full lifecycle projects within a program required.
Previous experience leading teams required.
Previous experience working with business stakeholders in a cross-functional matrix environment required.
Intermediate level of proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office required.
Certain certification(s) may be required for specific areas or departments within a set period of time upon hire.
