About the role
- Lead development and execution of global content and marketing channel strategy aligned with business goals
- Oversee the full content lifecycle across owned, earned, and paid channels from ideation to distribution
- Build a differentiated content strategy that supports the customer journey and go-to-market initiatives
- Develop a media and marketing channel strategy reflecting evolving customer behaviors and digital trends
- Lead and manage a creative team to deliver high-quality, brand-aligned content across platforms
- Lead the editorial corporate communications plan across departments with a 360 approach to content creation and distribution
- Orchestrate channels to influence decisions and drive engagement across the funnel
- Use data and analytics to measure performance and optimize content effectiveness
- Develop methods and use of AI and new technology to drive speed, efficiency and innovation
- Collaborate with Product and Solutions Management, Sales, Brand, and Digital Transformation to align messaging and content with business priorities
- Support internal communication and change management through clear and engaging content strategies
- Report to the Vice President of Marketing and Communication; location flexible between Sandvik Coromant offices
Requirements
- Proven experience leading content and marketing channel strategy at managerial or executive level
- Strong track record guiding creative teams and driving digital marketing initiatives
- Experience applying performance analytics to strategic decisions
- Ability to translate business goals into actionable content plans
- Experience working across functions in a matrix organization
- Experience applying AI and emerging technologies in marketing and content strategy (strong advantage)
- Strategic thinking combined with creative storytelling abilities
- Excellent collaboration and clear communication skills
- Curiosity, inclusion, and passion for creating content that connects
