Serve as a key technical contributor within the Data Analytics function of Sales Support
Query, structure, and visualize actionable data to drive operational improvements for Sales Support
Work closely with Sales Ops leaders, Sales, Customer Support, and Data Engineering to translate business, product, and technical requirements into quantitative analysis and dashboards
Iterate on analyses and dashboards with stakeholders
Shape, structure, and optimize data sets using SQL, Python, or another language of choice
Create and maintain complex Tableau dashboards and other summary visualizations for operational and leadership decision-making
Perform exploratory analyses to understand organizational health and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
Build analytical models to identify patterns, anomalies, and root causes
Lead meetings with technical and non-technical leaders to understand data structures, dashboard requirements, and business priorities
Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the team scales globally
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or relevant discipline
Experience with data manipulation and processing in SQL
Experience building data visualizations with Tableau or a similar, enterprise-grade Business Intelligence tool
Residency in Mexico (this is a remote position open to candidates residing in Mexico)
Ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified location
Formal studies in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.)
Hands-on experience with CRM and ticketing tools (Zendesk and Salesforce)
Experience in a Sales Ops or Customer Support organization and understanding of KPIs and processes
Experience with B2B hardware and SaaS products
Experience partnering with leadership to solve business problems
