About the role

  • Hunt for leads, map enterprise accounts, and build demand for Samsara’s full line of products
  • Serve at the front of Samsara’s go-to-market strategy through prospecting and outbound outreach
  • Make an average of 80+ calls to prospective customers daily and perform heavy cold-calling
  • Work closely with top-tier executives and sales teams; support activities that lead to promotion into closing roles
  • Develop enterprise technology sales skills and advance toward quota-carrying responsibilities
  • Contribute to improving safety, efficiency, and sustainability for industries using Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud
  • Hybrid role based in the Mexico City office with in-person collaboration

Requirements

  • High level of interest in the IoT space
  • Excitement around growing a sales career
  • Comfortability in a dynamic, customer-facing environment
  • Previous cold calling experience
  • Motivation to be in a goal-oriented, quota-carrying role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with a high degree of clarity and professionalism in English (both verbally and in writing) to build rapport and support our US customer base
  • Resilience to handle rejection and persist in outreach
  • Ability to secure and maintain the legal right to work in the specified work location
