About the role
- Engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Tableau platform
- Build positive, trusted relationships with team members and decision makers within assigned patch
- Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting
- Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts
- Drive sales within assigned lower-commercial segments and acquire new logos within territory
- Speak to business offerings relative to customer needs and engage other resources as required
- Manage a high volume of accounts and sales
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical sales experience
- Quota-carrying sales experience with end-to-end sales processes
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles in the technology sales industry
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
- Willingness to prospect via warm leads and whitespace
- Ability to build trusted relationships with decision makers
- Genuine passion for technology, disruption and innovation
- Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales (SaaS) preferred
- Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred
- Prior use of Salesforce is advantageous but not required
