About the role

  • Engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire Tableau platform
  • Build positive, trusted relationships with team members and decision makers within assigned patch
  • Develop opportunities through warm leads and whitespace prospecting
  • Close opportunities at assigned existing accounts and drive sales at new accounts
  • Drive sales within assigned lower-commercial segments and acquire new logos within territory
  • Speak to business offerings relative to customer needs and engage other resources as required
  • Manage a high volume of accounts and sales

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical sales experience
  • Quota-carrying sales experience with end-to-end sales processes
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles in the technology sales industry
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Willingness to prospect via warm leads and whitespace
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with decision makers
  • Genuine passion for technology, disruption and innovation
  • Experience selling in the software industry or technical sales (SaaS) preferred
  • Experience with analytics, data, databases, predictive modeling, or business intelligence preferred
  • Prior use of Salesforce is advantageous but not required
