About the role
- Develop User Insights: research, journey map, storyboard, and test user experiences.
- Conduct A/B testing via Optimizely and similar tools to optimize the user experience across the website and key funnels.
- Help identify and understand the needs of high and low intent-audiences as they come to Slack.com.
- Lead, synthesize, and present user research to stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
- Use quantitative and qualitative data to back up assumptions and devise comprehensive and integrated digital strategies.
- Define Strategy: Advocate for the end-user and ensure stakeholder alignment toward company objectives.
- Develop detailed strategic documentation including competitive analysis, personas, user journeys, and information architecture.
- Lead the web strategy for international market expansion, collaborating with regional marketing teams to localize content and optimize the user journey for global audiences.
- Identify, develop or curate unique content that can be utilized across channels.
- Measure Success: Own, analyze, and communicate results including key performance metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Own the optimization strategy for all web landing pages, with a specific focus on paid media campaigns, to increase conversion rates and return on ad spend.
- Analyze page performance and user behavior to identify areas of improvement and apply learnings to future campaigns or partner with the Experimentation team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in developing integrated web or growth strategies.
- Proven experience driving web strategy for global expansion, including localization and international market considerations.
- Demonstrated strength in applying statistics, experimentation, and modeling to applied business problems.
- Experienced in and an advocate for conversion rate optimization (CRO) and performance marketing, with a deep understanding of paid media channels.
- Strong user research skills: planning, leading, and synthesis.
- Experience generating strategy documentation including personas, user journeys, competitive analysis, content strategy, and information architecture.
- Ability to identify popular themes and types of content our audience would engage with and align them with the appropriate channels.
- Proficient in UserTesting, Google Analytics, Optimizely (or similar A/B testing tools), and Google Tag Manager.
