About the role

  • Serve as Senior Vice President, Global Compensation at Salesforce
  • Drive and oversee Design & Strategy Global Compensation, Global Rewards M&A and client-facing Global Rewards Partners
  • Partner with head of Executive and Equity Compensation, Head of Global Benefits, C-suite Executives, Functional and Business leaders
  • Ensure market competitiveness, pay equity and compliance aligning with location and workforce planning strategy
  • Develop and execute global compensation strategy
  • Champion pay equity and global pay transparency
  • Lead Global M&A integration strategies related to compensation, benefits, and rewards programs
  • Build partnership with Global Incentive Compensation function
  • Drive global job architecture, leveling frameworks, and pay-for-performance culture
  • Design and deliver broad-based compensation programs including salary structures, merit, promotions, and policies
  • Develop annual compensation budgets and lead long range plan initiatives
  • Lead OTE and TDC market reviews
  • Ensure compliance with global pay regulations and conduct regular pay equity audits
  • Leverage data analytics, predictive modelling, and ES technology to assess effectiveness of compensation programs
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on compensation and market trends

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Total Rewards leadership, with at least 5 years in an executive role
  • Deep expertise in broad-based compensation
  • Experience in the design, implementation and management of global benefits and retirement programs
  • Experience advising C-suite executives and working with Board Compensation Committees
  • Solid knowledge of global compensation and benefits regulations, including SEC, FASB, IFRS, ERISA, and regional labor laws and experience of working with European Works Councils
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex total rewards programs in multinational environments
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and change management skills
  • Experience in a publicly traded or multinational company preferred
  • Provide effective, collaborative, and inclusive leadership grounded in humility, with a growth mindset, high standards, and reputation for delivering high quality results
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to influence and earn trust at the highest level in the organization
  • Experience building, leading and working with teams spanning multiple geographies
  • Experience in working in fast-paced environments including large enterprise software companies
  • Industry savvy, up to date, and energized by current and future industry trends on compensation and benefits
