About the role
- Undergo comprehensive product training and become a technical lead on customer projects
- Gather customers' business use cases and document product-based requirements with recommended solution designs
- Educate customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design, and best practices
- Assist in the scoping, analysis, and documentation of implementation projects
- Develop and deliver technical training designed to enable/educate SailPoint implementation partners
- Help implementation team members design creative solutions to complex problems
- Assist with the actual technical delivery of the solution via written code or complex configuration
- Use development background to write custom work or review others' code
- Establish oneself as a technical and consultative expert and trusted advisor to customers and partners within the first year
Requirements
- 5-7+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm
- 3+ years of software implementation experience
- Experience in software development, implementation, and configuration
- Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners
- Experience with the following tech-stack NodeJS, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, React.js
- Preferred: Experience with at least one of the following SpringBoot, SpringMVC, XML, SPML/SOAP, web and application servers
- Preferred: Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms
- Preferred: Relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)
- Preferred: NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis)
- Preferred: Directories (LDAP, AD)
- Preferred: Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, Node.js
- Preferred: Enterprise resource planning or service management systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow)
- Preferred: Cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Preferred: Front-end language experience (HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with SailPoint identity governance products or vendors such as Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, or Novell a plus
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts a plus
- Experience with project management duties (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation)
- Experience with quality assurance duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans)
- Security software or IT audit experience
- Education: Computer Science degree, Engineering degree, or equivalent experience
- J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus
- SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect is a plus and is expected within 12 months of hire
- May require up to 15% travel
