About the role

  • Drive sales growth through proactive outreach, relationship building, and strategic digital sales tactics
  • Deliver a positive customer experience using the SailPoint sales model
  • Work with field sales counterparts (Outside Account Executive, SEs, Channel Partners) to penetrate new accounts and cross-sell existing accounts
  • Use digital tech stack and prospecting tools (LinkedIn, 6Sense, TechTarget, ZoomInfo) to uncover corporate insights and persona-based imperatives
  • Sequence prospects for outbound and inbound efforts; action all leads within SLAs and convert to opportunities in Salesforce
  • Complete onboarding, Challenger Sales Training, and role-specific coursework; shadow discovery calls
  • Book discovery calls, create opportunities in Salesforce, and meet funnel/pipeline targets documented in KPI dashboard
  • Close deals with AE support initially and independently over time

Requirements

  • Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) opportunity creation & sales
  • Effective communication skills
  • Very well organized
  • A knack for persuasion
  • Deep understanding of digital sales techniques
  • Experience with Salesforce; ability to convert leads to opportunities
  • Familiarity with digital prospecting tools: LinkedIn, 6Sense, TechTarget, ZoomInfo
  • Ability to sequence prospects, action leads within time-bound SLAs, and manage KPIs
  • Willingness to listen, shadow discovery calls, and book discovery calls
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) or equivalent work experience
