About the role

  • Lead creation, enhancement, and management of SAE's PreK–16 STEM education portfolio.
  • Design high-quality, scalable educational programs aligned to national standards and workforce development priorities.
  • Create hands-on curriculum, student learning experiences, and educator training; ensure accessibility and inclusion.
  • Establish measurable learning outcomes, impact indicators, and evaluation-ready data collection tools.
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers, subject matter experts, and advisory groups; facilitate committees.
  • Integrate workforce development and career-connected learning into PreK–16 pathways; collaborate with industry and academic partners.
  • Manage program budgets (up to $3M) and operational planning; coordinate implementation readiness.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Enablement, Sales, and Foundation teams; support grant proposal development.
  • Manage and implement the AWIM PreK–high school program, including outreach, training, inventory tracking, and funded initiative delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in education, curriculum development, or instructional design
  • Strong knowledge of curriculum standards, instructional best practices, and program design
  • Experience leading volunteers, SMEs, and advisory groups
  • Understanding of workforce development and career-connected learning models
  • Ability to define, measure, and report on educational outcomes
  • Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple teams
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • 5 years of classroom or equivalent education experience (preferred)
  • 2+ years of association or nonprofit program management experience (preferred)
  • Travel up to 30%; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered based on business needs
