About the role

  • Increase product penetration by delivering specialty credit products to Corporate & Investment Banking clients and partnering with coverage teams.
  • Act as an advisor to senior leadership to develop or influence long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs.
  • Lead the sourcing of new clients and grow existing relationships for a given product or specialty.
  • Understand clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions within individual deals and relationships.
  • Partner with client teams to work on client transactions and advise on peer transactions, including structuring, proposing, and selling tailored financial solutions.
  • Strategically lead internal coordination and submit transactions for management or independent risk approval.
  • Engage with professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership.
  • Partner with product management to provide market vision, enable innovation, and deliver credit solutions more effectively.
  • Serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of secured or specialized lending sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 7+ years of Trade Finance and working capital experience.
  • Experience in Oil, Gas and Energy sector trade finance with understanding of asset-based lending, reserves-based lending and energy trading dynamics.
  • Strong relationship management, analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Corporate Banking experience; ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels.
  • Good PC skills with aptitude to learn new systems quickly; high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Willingness to work on-site in one of the listed locations; hybrid work schedule.
