About the role

  • Cover all aspects of consulting including presales, supporting sales, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, and end-user training on D365 FO.
  • Provide expertise and in-depth knowledge of the D365 FO application and evaluate customers’ business processes against standard Microsoft Dynamics functionality.
  • Document business requirements outlining required actions and expected outcomes; document "as-is" and "to-be" processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives and facilitate customer decision-making.
  • Develop functional design documents to drive development and perform fit-gap analyses and solution design.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and train customer resources to use and maintain D365 FO.
  • Design and develop new modifications, support existing modifications, and assist with ongoing support issues.
  • Configure and set up D365 FO, including planning and executing data migration strategies.
  • Liaise with product vendors regarding customer or company service issues.
  • Ensure technical aspects meet required standards for functionality, operability, and documentation; take responsibility for QA and documentation.
  • Work with project managers and team leaders to manage resource changes across projects and act as communication point between developers and clients.
  • Provide production support when required and collaborate with global teams; stay current with latest D365 FO features and technologies.

Requirements

  • Experience as a subject matter expert in D365 FO with full project implementation experience.
  • Experience developing functional specifications for D365 FO enhancements and integrations.
  • Proven experience in setup, configuration, implementation, integration, and testing of D365 FO solutions, following best practices or Microsoft Sure Step methodology.
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of core D365 FO modules.
  • Familiarity with best practices in your area of specialization or vertical industry.
  • Technical background or understanding of programming concepts (advantage).
  • Ability to create high-quality functional documentation with strong requirements-gathering skills.
  • Logical problem-solving skills and a structured approach to introducing changes to operational systems.
  • Strong business communication, presentation, and demonstration skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in leading large, complex technology projects.
  • Business intelligence experience, including reporting and analytics.
  • Deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, development methodologies, operating systems, technical platforms/architecture, and application servers.
  • Confident in providing support and training to users.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality solutions to customers.
  • Experience working across multiple industries.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to find innovative solutions to complex problems.
