About the role
- Overseeing both internal and external services, supporting team leaders and members, and ensuring operational excellence in the management of datasets and content.
- Drive efforts to enhance data accuracy, completeness, and timeliness through collaboration, innovation, and the execution of ad-hoc projects, specifically focusing on the acquisition and collection of equity and debt rounds of funding across alternate asset classes.
- Drive innovation in data analytics practices, ensuring our methodologies remain at the forefront of industry standards.
- Develop strategies integrating technical expertise and product knowledge to deliver high-quality private market solutions.
- Monitor team performance metrics, optimize resource allocation, and conduct due diligence to mitigate risks.
- Drive data quality initiatives aligned with private market priorities.
- Identify, support, and develop strategies for acquiring new datasets relevant to capturing equity and debt rounds of funding across alternate asset classes while fostering a people-first culture.
- Conduct continuous research to uncover emerging trends, opportunities, and threats within the equity and debt rounds of funding across alternate asset classes, providing valuable insights that guide strategic decision-making.
- Facilitate career growth, succession planning, and technical skill enhancement.
- Set performance goals, manage pay-for-performance culture, and mentor on industry trends.
- Oversee short- and long-term projects, ensuring effective execution with Data Management teams.
- Build strong relationships with leadership and key stakeholders across regions.

Requirements
- Proven leadership in financial data services, with expertise in team management.
- Background in investment banking or asset management is a plus.
- Deep understanding of equity and debt rounds of funding across alternate asset classes, with the ability to analyse industry trends for strategic decision-making.
- Comfortable working autonomously while effectively handling multiple priorities from various stakeholders.
- Focused on achieving objectives and delivering measurable results with a strong sense of accountability.
- Skilled in operational management with attention to detail in capturing equity and debt rounds of funding across alternate asset classes.
- Experience in setting and monitoring KPIs to assess team and project success.
- Strong ability to give and receive constructive feedback while mentoring team members.
- Commitment to high ethical standards, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Self-sufficient in managing tasks with minimal supervision.
