Drive the creation, development, governance, and execution of cross-functional initiatives, ensuring they align with strategic Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Work closely with the Value Stream Owner, Product Management, and other stakeholders to ensure initiatives are well-defined, documented, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
Lead creation of Epics and MVPs, in collaboration with the Value Stream Owner, Product Manager, and Epic Owners.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and dependencies across value streams, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives.
Facilitate collaboration among various teams and stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of initiatives/epics and effective communication of progress and outcomes.
Provide regular updates and health reporting on initiatives to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in a technical discipline or similar.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing a technology project portfolio.
Knowledge of Technology Infrastructure and/or the software development life cycle (SDLC); understand other engineering processes and methodologies and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise.
Proven ability to work with and manage cross functional stakeholders up to and including executive leadership.
Ability to see the big picture and guide decisions to align with business goals and outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively to senior leadership.
Experience in identifying and mitigating cross-value stream/functional risks and dependencies.
Demonstrated customer focus and ability to deliver value.
Demonstrated experience in agile portfolio management, preferably within the Scaled Agile Framework.
Certification in one or more of the following: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), SAFe Agilist, Certified Agile Portfolio Manager (ICP-APM), SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Lean Portfolio Manager.
Familiarity with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and their application within portfolio management.
Experience in facilitating, leading, influencing, and managing within a large-scale, globally distributed organization.
