About the role
- Manage daily operations of the claims processing team to ensure timely and accurate handling of all incoming claims
- Review and audit claims documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in claims submissions and workflows
- Ensure adequate internal control policies and procedures over the claims process
- Aid compliance functions such claim updates and error tracking as needed
- Support training function by developing and potentially delivering training curriculum
- Liase with other departments within the company to ensure a coordinated approach to claims management
- Stay up to date with changes in crop insurance regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience working with crop insurance claims
- 2+ years of experience supervising crop insurance claim procedures
