• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of AEs, and build a culture where great people want to stay.
• Take over an existing team and book of business, then hire and build out your own team, keeping a strong bench in play.
• Own regional go-to-market strategy: territory planning, pipeline health, multi-threaded executive alignment, and close plans.
• Own the operating cadence: forecasting, pipeline inspection, deal reviews, and weekly coaching.
• Win complex, multi-stakeholder deals by aligning field engineering, product, and partnerships to move them forward.
• Build relationships with technical buyers (security and engineering leaders) and economic buyers (VPs and C-suite).
• Partner with marketing on targeted programs and field events like executive dinners, and work with customers on renewal and expansion.
• Translate what you hear in the field into concrete input on product, pricing, and packaging.

Marketing

• Own the field calendar end to end: conference selection, budget allocation, sponsorship negotiation, and deciding what to skip.
• Run intimate events: exec dinners and CISO roundtables, from invite list to follow-up.
• Partner with AEs and BDRs: target account lists, pre-event outreach, on-site meeting orchestration, and post-event handoffs.
• Close the loop on pipeline: follow-up sequences, sourced and influenced attribution, and reporting field ROI to leadership.
• Execute on-site: booth presence, event collateral, and swag, representing Runlayer to security and engineering buyers.
• Build the field motion from scratch alongside the VP of Marketing and the sales team.
• This role will require up to 40% travel for events and customer engagements.

Field Marketer

Product Manager

• Own the control-plane surface: discovery, visibility, deep session, real-time controls, and agent IAM.
• Run discovery with security and IT buyers and the developers and agents who hit the proxy, turning signals into a ranked roadmap.
• Make decisions, prioritize the roadmap, and ship with engineers weekly.

Founding Product Manager, Control Plane

• Own the builder: natural language to working agent, self improvement, versioning, and sharing.
• Own the runtime: event-based triggers, scheduling, model routing, and agent delegation.
• Drive growth: Slack Agents, time-to-first-working-agent, and the self-serve path that turns one builder into a team into an org.
• Define how product telemetry makes agents better over time.
• Serve both audiences: the engineer who wants SDK depth and the non-technical builder who wants natural language. Run discovery directly with both.
• Make decisions, prioritize, and ship with engineers weekly.

Founding Product Manager, Agents

Security Engineer

• Build and improve Watch products: static and dynamic scanning for MCP servers, skills, plugins, and agent behavior detection on endpoints
• Develop shadow detection: identify unregistered MCP servers, skills, plugins, and agents running outside governance across the enterprise
• Own AppSec for the platform: penetration testing, vulnerability management, dependency scanning, and security hardening of the control plane
• Build automated version scanning: CI/CD-integrated security checks that run on each new MCP server version, skill update, or plugin release
• Extend detection coverage to CLI agents (Codex, OpenCode) and browser-based agents

Member of Technical Staff – Security

Solutions Engineer

• Own POC outcomes for enterprise customers.
• Run pre-sales technical deep dives, demos, and architecture discussions.
• Troubleshoot integrations across customer environments (identity, security, networking).
• Build custom configurations and one-off solutions when the standard path doesn't fit.
• Run technical onboarding sessions and adoption workshops.
• Be the technical expert in the room during sales cycles, handling stump questions from senior engineers.
