About the role
- Oversee the development of new textile products, ensuring they meet Ruggable's high standards for quality, functionality, and style
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to ensure quality, best costing, and support innovation
- Manage product testing and certification processes to ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large team of product developers, designers, and engineers
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and a creative work environment
- Drive R&D efforts and product innovation to maintain Ruggable's leadership in home décor
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (textiles, industrial design, engineering)
- 7+ years of experience in product development in the home textiles industry
- Proven track record of successfully launching innovative products and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of global sourcing and supplier management
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards (Preferred)
- Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making (Preferred)
- Strong understanding of home textiles industry (Preferred)
