develop and manage a portfolio of major subcontracts and procurement activities.
participate in gate reviews and capture/proposal efforts, as well as facilitate relationships across organizations and suppliers.
ensure all subcontracts and purchase orders are fully compliant to policies/procedures and to the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
perform procurement and supplier management functions in support of U.S. Government subcontracts.
administer and care for low and high dollar POs and subcontracts, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and potentially other contract types such as cost type agreements or long term agreements.
develop the overall sourcing and procurement activities from development through production and final contract close out.
develop tactical and strategic aspects of supplier relationships.
perform risk analysis including identifying supply chain risks, opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plans.
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, orAn Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
Experience with DoD procurement/subcontract compliance with Public Laws, Policies, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
