Define radar system requirements and design architectures and algorithms to meet those requirements
Analyze radar system performance data with respect to requirements and identify performance deficiencies
Propose solutions and define/prototype new algorithms to enhance system performance
Collaborate with software development teams and provide subject matter expertise to agile teams to ensure proper implementation of requirements
Present plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers
Work in capability areas including Electronic Protection, signal processing, applied mathematics, hypersonic threat defense, tracking, discrimination, search and battle manager interfaces
Support radar calibration, diagnostics, deployed site support, and modeling and simulation of tactical software
Participate in integration, test and evaluation of Missile Defense & Sensor Systems
Requirements
U.S. citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret (ability to obtain/maintain required)
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
Minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience
Experience with Battle Management command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (BMC4I) systems (preferred)
Experience with Radar Systems or signal processing techniques (preferred)
Experience developing, documenting and maintaining processes, methods and tools (preferred)
Ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
Experience working with Matlab, C/C++, Java or DOORS (preferred)
Experience with MS Office Suite
Experience with system level requirements development, documentation and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture
Experience with radar system concepts: detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms
Experience developing and coding system models, algorithms, test vectors and analysis tools
Experience and interest in Information Assurance/Cyber Engineering requirements (preferred)
Experience in using AI/ML and signal processing in database and algorithm design (preferred)
Previous military service (preferred)
Ability to interface with customers and lead technical solutions to complex user needs
Active DoD Secret Clearance or greater (preferred)
