About the role
- Support the overall strategy and lead sub process definition and/or improvements
- Collaborate on the overall global process standardization
- Lead Proposal Development: indicate early key bidding assumptions, dependencies and risks
- Bring cost competitiveness to programs: lower NRE costs and local suppliers
- Work Bid and Proposals Standard Work and collaborate on Bid and Proposals dashboard for pursuits
- Track upcoming and current pursuits and apply RLPM Framework and Pricing Requirements to audit standards
- Support Product Line Value Stream Review and Risk/Opportunity Costing
- Prepare and maintain project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements
- Estimate costs, resources, and time required to complete projects
- Maintain and provide analysis of trends, performance, resource cost and forecasting reports
- Gather and analyze data to monitor projects' progress in terms of cost, schedule, and technical specifications
- Meet weekly with the project team to manage project performance, status, open issues, and tasks
- Conduct critical path analysis and work closely with the IPT to manage tasks and workflow
- Monitor and assess project issues, escalate when necessary, and develop resolutions
- Oversee and coordinate administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines and internal processes and recommend changes to improve efficiency
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements)
- Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment; relocation assistance is not offered
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience
- OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Cost analysis and estimation experience with engineering projects
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
- Significant experience with Microsoft Project 2013 and MS Excel (preferred)
- Experience with electronics or digital controls (preferred)
- Experience with planning arbitration and adjudication across IPTs (preferred)
- Experience with recovery planning and workaround facilitation (preferred)
- Experience with working multiple schedules in parallel (preferred)
- Experience with resource loading, identifying, and resolving over-allocations and resource reporting in MS Project (preferred)
- Experience with cost & schedule integration (preferred)
- Understanding of Project Management Theory and Concepts (preferred)
- Product Life Cycle Knowledge including Systems, Hardware, Software, and Mechanical disciplines (preferred)
- EVMS, including earned value and performance management (preferred)
- Life Cycle Management experience (preferred)
- Agile methodologies knowledge (preferred)
