About the role

  • Shape strategic direction of the SATCOM product portfolio and drive growth
  • Consolidate products and capabilities across the Communication Systems Segment into a combined go-to-market strategy
  • Identify, cultivate, and nurture strategic partnerships
  • Drive front-end processes such as prospect reviews and capture management with the global sales team
  • Partner with tactical radio product line to identify BLOS capabilities for combined terrestrial and BLOS resilient communications solutions
  • Guide quantitative analysis and perform deep dives on critical solutions
  • Evaluate and execute potential acquisitions to strengthen portfolio
  • Identify and develop turn-key satcom service offerings for customers
  • Develop multi-orbit/constellation product and service strategy for US and international markets
  • Expand on-the-move product offerings and resilient capabilities including PTW offerings
  • Expand PLM capabilities to include additional Product Manager and Product Specialist roles
  • Lead joint strategic planning related to CS Satcom products and capabilities to develop higher CAGR execution plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 15 years prior experience
  • Graduate Degree with 13 years prior experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience
  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution (preferred)
  • DoD SATCOM industry experience (preferred)
  • Ability to travel – up to 25% (preferred)
  • Experience working with DoD prime system contractors/integrators (preferred)
  • Experience developing new business opportunities with the Department of Defense (preferred)
  • Experience in product management, strategic capture, go-to-market strategy, partnership development, quantitative analysis, and acquisition evaluation
