Provide electrical and mechanical station build support for research, design, development or manufacturing activities
Read engineering drawings and build engineering builds and associated cabling and connectors
Use engineering tools and systems to look up reference and program information needed
Assist engineers with the development of new engineering processes and/or products to ensure their manufacturability
Recommend design changes as needed
Perform printed circuit design build and repairs, including multi-pin cable and connector builds and cable continuity verification
Work onsite in Aguadilla, PR with hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Requirements
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment (relocation not offered)
Previous experience reading engineering drawings and using lookup tools (preferred)
Previous experience with printed circuit design build and repairs, including multi-pin cable and connector builds and cable continuity verification (preferred)
Familiarity with repair and assembly workmanship standards: IPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001 (preferred)
Familiarity with ESD Controls standard: ANSI/ESD S20.20 (preferred)
Familiarity with Test Engineering Support: ISO/IEC-17025a (preferred)
Familiarity on how to interpret and apply Safety Data Sheets for handling materials such as solder, flux, and cleaners (preferred)
