About the role
- Lead procurement efforts in support of multiple Raytheon programs across the portfolio
- Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
- Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents
- Prepare and issue Request for Quotations/Proposals (RFQs/RFPs)
- Perform price and cost analysis and lead negotiation plans/strategies
- Address exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements
- Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures and perform routine post-award management activities
- Engage in supplier performance, relationship management, and strategic sourcing
- Facilitate complex business agreements and administer subcontracts consistent with integrated supply chain models
- Collaborate with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Raytheon Customer and Commodity Performance Lead
- Nurture professional business relationships with first tier subcontractors
- Support travel as needed (up to 10%)
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or similar role
- Relevant experience in procurement and supplier management
- Experience in Government procurement (preferred)
- SAP/PRISM based environment experience (preferred)
- Experience in written contractual authorization/vehicles (Cost Plus, Firm Fixed Price etc.) and experience assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4) (preferred)
- Price Cost Analysis experience
- Experience with proposals from prospective suppliers and analyze cost/price, technical capability, and financial viability
- Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) (preferred)
- Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services, including Statement of Work (SOW) review
- Experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, supplier exceptions to contractual flow-down requirements)
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal with internal customers
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required
- Able to support travel (up to 10%)
