About the role
- Oversee, manage, and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure customer and US Government property both on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies
- Maintain property accountability records, determine condition, and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment
- Conduct internal and external property assessments to analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management
- Responsible for development, recommendation, and implementation of property management policy
- Review and update property records in property database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
- Process incoming and outgoing shipping documentation and manage property acquisitions
- Prepare periodic and special reports on property and material review, physical inventory planning, contract annual government property reports (AGPR), PIEE GFP module status, and other reports as needed
- Coordinate and conduct property surveillance reviews and annual physical inventories at supplier and subcontractor sites
- Collaborate with Buyers, Subcontract Administrators, and Program and Functional area PFPs to ensure accountability of assets is maintained
- Engage with internal and external customers, and government regulatory agencies
- Lead Property Management System Analysis (PMSA), Contractor Self-Assessment (CSA) reviews, Mission Assurance/Quality audits, and AS9100 audits
- Assist program management in the planning and execution of property management life cycle and provide guidance to team members
- Occasional irregular hours and travel may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 3+ years of professional experience in business management, finance, accounting, or related fields
- 1 year of experience with a Master’s degree in business management, finance, accounting, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Will consider 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
- US citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- ERP/SAP experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with Automated Property Management (preferred)
- Current DOD security clearance (preferred)
- Combined experience in property management, material/equipment control, inventory, requisitioning/purchasing, logistics, and management (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to create, monitor and report on all property operations metrics
- Experience supporting U.S. government customers & contracts, FAR/DFAR (preferred)
- Internal and external audit experience (preferred)
- Strong quality assurance/control experience (preferred)
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and work occasional irregular hours
