About the role
- Responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a specific supplier within a commodity
- Directs and manages all schedules and purchase orders for the client account or product family
- Ensures product is delivered on time, meets quality standards, and at the right cost
- May perform delivery assurance responsibilities and support delivery assurance activities
- Support procurement activities for Collins Aerospace
- Execute processes, standards, and operational plans including RFPs, negotiations, cost accountability, and program execution
- Analyze and review price proposals, financial reports, and other data to provide input on reasonable prices
- Support project management activities and review/maintain KPIs for team members
- Attend group meetings, teleconferences, and training; perform other duties as required
- Availability to travel up to 10% domestically
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, Technology or Engineering
- 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Business Administration
- U.S. citizenship is required (U.S. Person/immigration status requirement)
- Selected candidate must reside in Puerto Rico
- English (read, write, speak) is required
- Availability to travel up to 10% domestically
- Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Notes
- Security Clearance: None/Not Required
