About the role
- Sign partnerships with real estate owners to install Meter in vacant commercial spaces
- Build awareness of Meter across brokers, property managers, owners, developers, and other real estate stakeholders
- Own the full sales process from prospecting to closing, operationalizing, and expanding within portfolios
- Identify and qualify owners with vacancy suitable for Meter installations
- Book and lead discovery calls to educate owners on Meter’s real estate model and value proposition
- Negotiate pricing, structure, and contractual terms in collaboration with Legal to close deals
- Expand within owner portfolios across buildings and markets
- Partner with Sales to close tenants and leverage tenant wins to generate owner opportunities
- Work with Customer Success to retain installations when customers move out
- Coordinate with Operations to deploy Meter in owner spaces
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design to host events and create marketing materials for owners
- Measured on scaling Meter in your market and signing partnerships that meaningfully reduce vacancy
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of your market’s real estate ecosystem and relationships with brokers, owners, developers, and property managers
- Experience as an asset manager, broker, or technology professional who sells into the real estate market
- Excited to bring new technology to real estate; grit, ambition, and creativity
- Proven track record of winning and scaling in your domain
- Comfortable operating in both detailed execution and strategic planning
- Ability to work from Meter’s San Francisco office three days per week (application asks this explicitly)
