About the role
- Lead performance of reliability predictions
- Support design reviews
- Lead failure analysis and root cause and corrective action studies to assure Customer Satisfaction
- Complete FRACAS and FMECA related investigations and analysis
- Work across multiple engineering teams to help implement design changes for products being produced
- Lead fellow team members on program(s) to conduct test data analysis and trending
- Provide technical direction to the factory for field return assets
- Provide technical direction on system assembly and disassembly when onsite technical personnel cannot resolve problems
- Work with team members to provide data driven recommendations and solutions to the customer covering a wide range of technical subjects
- Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required
- Full-time, onsite role supporting Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) at RTX (Raytheon) for defense products
Requirements
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Security Clearance: DoD Clearance: Secret
- Experience with Testing and/or Testability
- Experience with reliability analysis or failure analysis
- Experience with FRACAS, FRB and/or RCCA
- Approximately 15% Domestic and International travel may be required
- Onsite position (must work onsite in listed locations)
- Preferred: Engineering leadership experience
- Preferred: Experience performing reliability predictions for electronic hardware
- Preferred: Experience managing multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast-paced operations environment
- Preferred: Experience developing and providing technical presentations to audiences including the U.S. and international customers
- Preferred: Experience with system assembly, disassembly and test
