About the role
- Design development, integration and validation of test hardware and software solutions for multiple production programs
- Work with hardware, software, and program engineers to design and develop test software solutions for production testing
- Implement system software engineering best practices in planning, development, and execution of scope, schedule, and budget
- Implement best practice standards regarding planning, coordination, and execution of design activities with sound engineering process discipline and leadership
- Effectively communicate technical information in formal design review settings
- Provide hands-on support to product testing within an engineering test environment
- Share knowledge and provide mentoring to other engineers on the team
- Support the Section Manager in the execution of the RF Technologies department goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in STEM with minimum of five (5) years relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in STEM with minimum of three (3) years relevant experience
- Minimum of three (3) years experience developing and deploying test software solutions in C#, CVI, C, C++, and/or MATLAB
- Experience using code review tools
- Experience automating RF test equipment control (vector network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Experience creating test plans and sequences for RF measurements using NI Test Stand or MATLAB
- Experience supporting a production test environment with critical troubleshooting skills
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date
