About the role
- Leadership and management of all program risk and opportunity across multiple life cycle phases including Production and Sustainment
- Execution of Risk & Opportunity reporting and analysis
- Perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results
- Regular interface with internal partners across the Raytheon business
- Engage in cross-functional partnerships with matrixed program managers, Program Integrators, and Integrated Product Team Leads
- Advocate PM plans, processes, and business objectives and implement PM best practices
- Support programs within the Product Support portfolio, including Global Patriot
- Travel internationally and domestically for customer, company, and program activities (~10%)
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required (ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree and minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Prior Program and/or Project Management experience
- Prior experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar
- Prior experience working with/supporting Defense industry product life cycle
- Experience with program risk and opportunity (R&O) process (preferred)
- Experience with Production and Sustainment programs and strategies with FMS and DCS Contracts (preferred)
- Experience developing and reviewing basis of estimates (preferred)
- Knowledge of program processes, financial planning and execution, EACs, EVM, and key metrics (preferred)
- PMP or Raytheon Program Manager 6 Certification or higher (preferred)
- Experience with Program Management (PMX) Tool Suite (preferred)
- Strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills (preferred)
- Ability to operate independently and navigate organizational complexities (preferred)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Project, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook (preferred)
- Ability to travel approximately 10% (international and domestic)
